Govt Released Rs 1225.43 cr Under Kalyana Lakshmi
Recently the Telangana state government announced budget release orders (BROs) for releasing INR 1225.43 crore under the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. The announcement was made on 21st August 2024 during the announcement of the fiscal budget of 2024-25. The government has sanctioned INR 649.86 crore for the approved applications, while INR 240.73 crore has been spent on sanctioned applications. Under the scheme, the Telangana state government provides financial assets of INR 1,00,116 to all the selected female citizens. This scheme will uplift the social status and standard of living of all the financially unstable female citizens who belong to the minority community.
