The government of Telangana has recently launched the Katamayya Rakshaka Kavacham Scheme 2024 (safety kits) for toddy tappers. In a meeting, the chief minister of Telangana addressed that the Toddy tappers are prone to injuries, and launching this kit for their safety will be the goal of this scheme. The chief minister of Telangana distributed these safety kits at Abdullapurmet Mandal. If we talk about the manufacturing of kits, these kits were manufactured by the IIT Hyderabad and are being distributed through BC corporation.
